Spring

March through to May can be a beautiful time of year. For the past few years we have had wonderful spring weather, this has resulted in an amazing variety of wild flowers. The swallows usually arrive around mid April, lambs are born and the rabbits start to feed off Graham's vegetable garden! Hay Festival - 21st May - 31st May 2020
Summer

Long summer nights around the BBQ or extend your walks into the evening. There are often agricultural shows on weekends and the small village shows can be the most fun. Go to the Royal Welsh Show (22nd - 25th July 2019) or stay in comfort for the Green Man Festival (15th- 18th August 2019).
Autumn

Go to Abergavenny Food Festival on the weekend of 21st/22nd Sept 2019 then spoil yourself in one of the many first class restaurants or gastropubs in the area. The beech trees in Clydach Gorge form a stunning back drop to the surrounding hills. The mist hangs in the valleys - we call it dragons' breath.
Winter

Will we have snow this year? Wonderful photo opportunities and if you don't mind getting wet, go sledging. Then warm up in front of a fire in a local pub. Crickhowell Walking Festival 7th - 15th March 2020.
