We hope you and your families have remained well over these past few difficult years?
It seems that the worst of the storm has left us and we no longer have specific covid related rules and regulations with which we have to comply.
Some public spaces still have social distancing in place, and of course we advise everyone to continue with the recommended personal hygiene measures.
You should not travel if you suspect you have covid-19 and must inform us if you develop symptoms whilst staying at the Barn.
Arrivals and Departures
Our arrival time has returned to 4pm. but we still ask you to vacate promptly at 10a.m. This will allow us to ensure that the Barn has been cleaned thoroughly for our next guests.
Please take all the rubbish out and put in the bins provided at top of steps.
Please recycle in line with MCC guidelines, on bins. Bins for paper and plastics are in the cupboards off both living areas, food waste on windowsills in kitchens and green crate for glass.
If it is secure please open windows before you go to air the property.
Cleaning
The Barn is cleaned following a check list to reassure you that the property has been cleaned to the required standard. We will continue to provide a virucidal spray cleaner, cloths and gloves in the utility room to allow you to maintain a safe environment. The hand washes provided at each sink are Bio D sanitising hand wash although, because we re-use plastic it is in an Aloe Vera bottle.
The utility room is now open. A portable washing line is provided - please do not use in high winds.
Sadly, as a legacy of covid, as in other parts of the country, some restaurants and venues are not open every day and we advise you to book.
